Biography

Ashten Prechtel is a high-impact post player with size, skill, and a growing list of accolades. A 2021 NCAA National Champion with Stanford, she was named Pac-12 Sixth Player of the Year and went on to be selected 34th overall in the 2023 WNBA Draft, earning training camp invites with the Connecticut Sun and Washington Mystics. Internationally, she’s been recognized as Defensive Player of the Year in both Australia (Dandenong, 2023) and Hungary (TFSE, 2025). She’s also a USA Basketball 3x3 U18 World Cup Champion, bringing big-game experience and versatility to the 3x3 format. Off the court, Ashten enjoys reading, traveling, and playing the piano.
